The Lost Garden of Heligan - a real treasure. Could be combined with in a day visit to the Eden Project.

Pencarrow House and gardens - especially in the spring.

RHS Garden Rosemoor -set deep in the lovely North Devon countryside, this is a garden of national importance.65 acres of enchanting garden and woodlands.

The Eden Project - worth seeing. In peak season or wet days it's best to visit early or late in the day.

Longcross Victorian Gardens, Port Isaac.

Castle Ruins

Perhaps take a short trip to Launceston Castle followed by the Launceston steam railway.

Restormel Castle is worth a visit - could be combined with Lanhydrock House.
